Top Ten Instagram Spots in Baha Mar

If you want to bring your Instagram to the next level while enjoying the most eye candy worthy locations, don’t forget to bring your camera when visiting these amazing spots in Baha Mar! Tag us on IG @the_pointster with your vacay photos.

1) Dean’s Blue Hole Pool

This photo was taken at the top of the private cliffs at Dean’s Blue Hole Pool at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. I positioned myself sitting down at the center of the camera frame with my arms rested on each rock to make the picture symmetrical, and thus aesthetically pleasing. The vivid blue of the pool against the earthy neutral rocks provides a great contrast for the photo as well.

2) Casino Pool

For this shot, stand or lay down in the middle of the pool on the ledge and strike a pose! Far away pictures in this location allow you to be a subtle focal point of the picture, while still not drawing attention away from the beauty of the location itself. The magnificent palm trees are a great way to frame the picture, providing greater symmetry and overall insta-worthy content.

3) Disappearing Dock

Capture this incredible shot as you walk into the distance of the Caribbean, preferably at dawn or dusk to ensure ideal lighting. This picture gives the impression that you are disappearing into the horizon line, an artistic technique which will take your Instagram to the next level!

4) Daq’s Shack

Daq’s Shack is an adorable bar known for its daiquiris and its photogenic exterior. With its adorable blue shutters, classic white columns, and signature yellow sign, this place is the perfect spot for a no hassle, beautifully colored picture with an authentic bahamian vibe. Take a picture of yourself walking inside, then enjoy a daiquiri!

5) Caribbean Sea View

This picture perfect location is captured best at either sunrise or sunset, specifically with a view of the dock in the background. You can choose to be in the picture or not, but you want to ensure that you are the only person visible in the shot. The sun provides an array of vibrant colors that reflect on the water, something that no filter can match!

6) The Palms Restaurant

This decadent restaurant gives you the perfect opportunity to capture some insta-worthy pictures while enjoying a delicious meal (I recommend the lobster mac and cheese). Don’t forget to resist taking a bite before the picture. Always remember: phone eats first!
