The New Marriott Bonvoy Credit Cards from Chase and Amex

With the merger of SPG, Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, Marriott will operate under the new name of Bonvoy. With the new program they are also overhauling all of the cobranded credit cards.

As of February 12th Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express was closed to new applicants, and instead will be rebranded as the American Express Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card. In addition, the Marriott Premier Plus Business Card from Chase is closed to new applicants and all card holders will be changed over to Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus.

Here is a list of all the new Bonvoy Credit Cards:

Starwood Preferred Guest Amex is now the Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card from Amex
Starwood Preferred Guest Luxury Card Amex is now the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Card from Amex
Starwood Preferred Guest Business Card Amex is now the Marriott Bonvoy Business Card from Amex
Marriott Rewards Premier Plus Visa Signature is now the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Visa Signature
Marriott Premier Plus Business Visa Signature is now the Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Visa

The exciting news is that three credit cards from the above list are still available to new applicants. Currently, you will be eligible to receive 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 in the first three months you receive the card. These elevated bonuses are on the Marriott Brilliant Bonvoy Amex, Marriott Bonvoy Business Amex and the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card. Its important to note that the 100,000 sign up bonus is only available until April 24th for the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Amex and the Marriott Bonvoy Business Amex.
