Most Instagrammable Worthy Spots in Tulum, Mexico

Here is a list of my most instagrammable Worthy spots in Tulum, Mexico.  My top spots are Matcha Mama, Azulik Hotel (stone stepping, bridge crossing, the beach, IK Lab, IK Raum), the Nomade Hotel, Casa Malca and various Cenotes.  I visited Cenotes Dos Ojos which is pictured below.  I also recommend you visit the Gran Cenote and Suytun Cenote. Happy Snapping in TULUM, Mexico !!!

Matcha Mama – What a great place to get a Vegan Smoothie, Raw Juice, Acai Bowls, Cold Brew and so much more!  This little stand on the side of the road is an amazing spot to get one of your favorite smoothies or refreshing matcha lattes.  The thatched roof stand with swings in the front and a surfboard that reads “I love Tulum so Matcha” is the perfect instagrammable spot.

Azulik Hotel in Tulum, Mexico — This amazing boutique property has so many instagrammable spots. The hotel is not only designed in harmony with nature, but will transform it into a unique experience.  The property is elevated with wooden paths that twist and turn, allowing trees to grow freely.

Azulik Beach — Azulik Beach is an istagrammable location that’ll add both color and character to your instagram feed! The bright blue waters and big rocks allow for a picture-perfect moment that’ll capture the serenity of this beach.

Balcony of Sky Villas with a Hot tub and Porch Swing — Complete with fabulous balconies and luxurious views, even your room in Tulum can be an instagrammable spot. With the Sky Villa balcony having large bathtubs and porch swings, you can capture the end of your day with a picture overlooking the Caribbean Sea, or just end it with a relaxing bath. The luxurious aspect of this location makes for an engaging instagram picture that is sure to make your followers jealous!

IK LAB art gallery at Azulik — The IK Lab art gallery at the Azulik Hotel is one of the most interesting spots, hands down. The open circles in the structure of the gallery serve as windows so you can look out at the jungle and see all Tulum has to offer. By posing in front of the massive circles like in our photo, or coming up with a new layout for your own photo, your instagram feed will show off Tulum’s natural, earthy jungles.

IK Raum Sunglass Boutique — Get ready to shop in style with the IK Raum Sunglass Boutique. This location sells high end sunglasses and was inspired by the sea and jungle of Tulum. If you’re looking for an instagrammable location that’s original, yet full of character, this is the place for you. One of the many mirrors can set up for an artistic picture while trying on sunglasses, or you can even lounge on the couch while trying a pair on.

Azulik Kin TOH Restaurant  sitting in the Nest — With Azulik’s restaurants come amazing views, but they’re even better coming from a little nest at the TOH Restaurant. The hammock-like seating allows you to look out over the palm trees of Tulum for the perfect instagram picture.  This spot allows for pictures of the flora and fauna, or just of you lounging around!

The Nomade Hotel — The Nomade Hotel has a beach restaurant called “La Popular,” and they’re right, the views make this spot extremely popular.  This open-air restaurant is right along the beach and has a variety of seating options. From low coffee tables on carpets and cushy pillows for chairs, to ottoman style seating and normal tables, La Popular is a restaurant that’ll catch the eye, for sure.  The variety of seating allows La Popular to be a truly amazing instagrammable spot, and also a great place to get grilled seafood.

Casa Malca — Casa Malca is a another boutique hotel.  This luxury hotel was once the mansion of the Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar.  What I love about this property is its location, which is directly on the beach, and also its extensive contemporary art collection, which is installed throughout the property.  When approaching the the door, there is a couch swing with drapes to its side, which will give you a unique photo for instagram that many haven’t captured yet.http://casamalca.com

Dos Ojos —  Cenotes are one of Tulum’s most unique and relaxing features, which means it’s a MUST if you visit Tulum. This specific cenote is located north of Tulum and is one of the most extravagant diving sites in the Yucatan peninsula, alongside being one of the largest underwater cave systems. The water is clear with deep and shallow areas.  I recommend you getting to the Cenotes right when they open, so you can capture an amazing picture without any other people. I got there at 8:00 am and was the only person at the Cenotes. The other two Cenotes I recommend are the Grand Cenotes (located in the Tulum, Mexico area) and the Suytun Cenote ( a 90 minute drive from Tulum, Mexico). Whether you just want to float, or Cenote is next on your list of instagrammable spots, this location is full of color and beauty. To capture all of the beauty of Cenote Dos Ojos, try floating on your back in the water!

Crossing bridge — Looking for an instagrammable spot that’ll frame your picture for you? This crossing bridge at Azulik in Tulum, Mexico is perfect for you then. The overhead arches lining the bridge will frame your picture and add a little something special to your photo, as if this location wasn’t special enough! The best way to capture all of the features of this beautiful spot is to taking your photo vertically and in line with the sides of the bridge, this way your photo is framed and captures the view from the bridge as well.

Coco Tulum — If you haven’t found the perfect spot for rest and relaxation, this is definitely it. Coco Tulum is a beachfront location that’ll give you a perfect photo and a perfect view of the ocean, all while swinging on their simple swings. This spot is picture-perfect at any point of the day, but it can also be a beautiful place to enjoy the sunrise or sunset over the ocean.

Archway at Tulum — Tulum loves its archways made of bamboo, and so do we! This bamboo walking path will give you a creative photo walking towards the camera, or even away from the camera. The bamboo at this location make for an earthy background that’ll show all of Tulum’s various atmospheres
