Most Instagrammable Spots on the Amalfi Coast

What are the most instagrammable spots on the Amalfi Coast?? When traveling in a foreign country, sometimes it’s hard to capture the feeling of an entire city or country through your photos. Whether you’re sharing them with friends, family, or social media followers, you’re going to want to show off everything you’ve seen abroad. So, we put together a guide for our Pointsters who want to capture the coolest, most instagrammable spots of Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

Piazza Umberto

📍Location: Capri

Piazza Umberto is the most famous square in Capri.  It’s the hub of social life, where everyone goes to relax, socialize, or even go people-watching.  A great place to take photos is in front of the clock tower or on the terrace near the Piazzetta, which has amazing views of the island and sea below.

Giardini di Augusto

📍Location: Capri

This is probably one of the best places to take a photo on the Isle of Capri!  The gardens have a series of panoramic flower-decked terraces overlooking the Faraglioni, the Bay of Marina Piccola, and Via Krupp.  You will not be disappointed in this view.

Fontelina

📍Location: Capri

Fontelina is one of the most famous beach clubs on the island of Capri. Fontelina is located opposite Faraglioni, so the views from this beach club are truly amazing. You can reach the beach club by foot, or you can take the beach club’s shuttle boat from  Marina Piccola. This spot is especially great for taking photos with the Mediterranean Sea, the rock formations, and Faraglioni in the background (I love getting my photo next to the blue and white umbrellas). Make sure you book your reservation in advance and beware, this beach is amazing but pricey.  You may even see a celebrity!!!

Blue Grotto

This beautiful cave on the water’s edge was used as a bath in Roman times.  Inside the cave, you will see the gorgeous turquoise water and the sun reflecting off of the white sand.  Few views can compare to this one, it’s truly spectacular !!

Faraglioni

📍Location: Capri

Faraglioni is three towering rock formations which jut out from the Mediterranean Sea, just off the coast of Capri.  Other names for this iconic sight are the “Love Arch” or “Tunnel of Love.” It is said that if you kiss under the arch you’ll be happy forever… it’s definitely worth a shot!

Villa Trinetta

📍Location: Capri

A bougainvillea covered entrance to this B&B is definitely worth a photo. With flowers surrounding you, you’ll be able to get the perfect shot and add some color to your instagram feed.  The villa is located at Via Camerelle, 71, 80076, Capri.

Chiosco Tizzano di Natalia e Antonio Tizzano

📍Location: Capri

This adorable lemonade stand near the entrance to the gardens is a fun place to stop and get a lemonade. While you’re sipping on that lemonade and cooling off, you can take a few colorful photos with lemons and oranges hanging above your head.

Views of Positano by Boat

📍Location: Positano

Seeing the Amalfi Coast by boat  is a great way to get an amazing photo of Positano.  We rented a boat and were able to capture the charm of this town with the mountains, sea cliffs, and elevated villas in the background. When people think of the Italian coast, this is what first comes to mind! You can snap a few pictures from the front of the boat with the elevated villas in the background to capture the true beauty of Positano!

Spiaggia Grande

📍Location: Positano

The Spiaggia Grande Beach Club is located on the beach down past all the restaurants and past the public area. Straying from the public areas, this spot is even more relaxing than any other beach. The beach club is known for their famous orange and yellow striped umbrellas, which could make a cute, but subtle, touch in any Instagram photo!

Diving in the Mediterranean

📍Location: Capri

Let’s dive into some unique Instagrammable photos of the Amalfi Coast by diving into the Mediterranean. For an original shot, we recommend diving or jumping into the sea and capturing that spontaneous moment for your Instagram account.
