Written by Ashley Ferraro

United Airlines’ MileagePlus program is offering members a chance to win 50,000 bonus miles. This opportunity is being offered to anyone who orders from a participating restaurant, following a few simple steps. The new promotion is in effort to support local restaurants during a time when COVID-19 is challenging business.

Before you do anything, you must be a United MileagePlus Dining member. You can easily join for free online through their website. From there, you’ll need to link a credit or debit card to your account.

Entering the sweepstakes is simple. All you have to do is order either takeout or delivery from your favorite participating restaurant. You can see which local restaurants are participating in the promotion by searching this map. Once you’ve figured out what you want, place your order and pay with your linked credit card or card.

From there, you will be prompted via email to review the restaurant. Click the link and follow the instructions in order to submit an honest review for your dining experience. You must include the hashtag #SweepstakesEntry in order to be considered. It’s important to note that any order placed through third-party delivery/takeout services or apps will not qualify to enter the sweepstakes.

MileagePlus members should note this current offering period runs through the end of April. However, a new offering period will begin May 1st and run through the end of the month. A full description of the sweepstakes including details may be reviewed on United MileagePlus Dining’s website.

If you are already doing your part to support local businesses by ordering takeout/delivery, you might as well test your luck at winning 50,000 MileagePlus bonus miles. Think of the vacation you could take when traveling becomes a normal way of life again. In the meantime, United Airlines wants you to win.
