Lets explore the new Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card. You heard about Marriott Bonvoy now it’s time to learn about the new credit card that comes with it.
With Starwood Preferred Guest, Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Marriott Rewards merging, the loyalty program created a new app, Marriott Bonvoy, which was released in January. With the updates to the program, Marriott Bonvoy members will receive the new Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card in the mail in upcoming months in place of their Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card.
The card, designed by Manhattan-based mural and studio artist Tony “Rubin” Sjoman, has a unique design inspired by “travel and exploration of new cities.”
The Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card will hold all the same benefits from the Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card, but now guests will have access to upwards of 6,700 hotels in 129 countries and territories. Each calendar year, members will be credited for 15 nights towards the next level of Marriott Bonvoy Elite status and will receive one free night award on their account anniversary.
As a reminder, the following are benefits of cardholders, according to American Express:
-Earn 6X Marriott Bonvoy points for each dollar of eligible purchases at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels and 2X points on all other eligible purchases
-Receive one free night award every year after your card account anniversary. The award can be used for one night (redemption level at or under 35,000 points) at a participating hotel.
