The Delta One Cabin is one of the most exclusive cabins when it comes to flying. Available on long-haul international flights and in select long-haul domestic markets, Delta One is giving its customers a newfound sense of comfort within traveling.
When it comes to making comparisons, the Delta One Cabin can be compared to United’s Polaris Business Class. Both Delta and United’s prestigious cabins feature luxurious amenities that are exclusive to the cabin, such as upscale dining options and luxury bedding. However, Delta One’s seats are what is really attracting travelers to the cabin.
Delta One seats offer travelers the opportunity to sit up and get work done, or kick back, relax, and sleep in a 180-degree “flat-bed” style seat. Travelers will get Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding, an oversized duvet, and a down alternative pillow, as well as direct aisle access right at their seats.
In terms of amenities, Delta One does not shy away from making their customers feel right at home throughout their flight. The Delta One Cabin provides personalized service from a dedicated Delta One cabin flight attendant, as well as a TUMI amenity kit that’ll enhance a traveler’s experience even more.
Other in-seat amenities include extra wide in-seat entertainment screens, chef curated meals and a wide selection complimentary beverages, extra-large tray tables—perfect for the diligent worker or the “foodie” of the family—and 110 volt outlets, including USB ports, at every seat.
On their website, Delta claims their Delta One Suites are part of curating a redefined image for international business class travel that allows for privacy and exclusivity
However, the Delta One experience does not start only when you board your flight.
Delta One passengers enjoy airport club access prior to boarding their flight. Within the Delta Sky Club, staff will be able to answer questions about your flight and even direct you to your flight when you’re ready to board. The club allows travelers the opportunity to have a drink to a full meal before even boarding their flight.
Delta One Cabin passengers will also have “Sky Priority® accelerated check-in security and baggage handling service,” according to Delta’s website. Alongside this, Delta One passengers will be the first to board the plane, allowing them to settle in even quicker.
Delta Sky Club has 37 separate locations available to travelers, which can be found at https://www.delta.com/skyclub/viewSkyClub_performRequest.action
When looking at upgrades, Delta notes that “Diamond Medallion® Members may use Global Upgrade Certificates to upgrade to Delta One. Diamond and Platinum Medallion Members can also use Regional Upgrade Certificates to upgrade on any flight that is eligible for Complimentary Upgrades, including those flights with First Class or the domestic Delta One experience.”
