Delta Passengers Start Using “First Biometric Terminal’ at Atlanta Airport

Effective November 30th, Delta announces the Atlanta Airport Terminal F has become the ‘first biometric terminal’ in the USA. Passengers are now using facial recognition technology from the curb to the gate and onto the plane.

Gill West, Delta’s COO said, “We’re moving the need for a customer checking a bag to present their passport up to four times per departure–which means we’re giving customers the option of moving through the airport with one less thing to worry about while empowering our employees with more time for meaningful interactions with customers”.

This new biometric feature will also be available to Delta’s international passengers flying non-stop from Atlanta on Delta’s partner airlines, Air France-KLM, Virgin Atlantic and Aeromexico.

The future looks bright for making our travel experiences more seamless!

Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your theme. With thanks
