CLEAR Makes Its Way To Newark Liberty

CLEAR is the next big thing in the travel industry. In the midst of hardcore expansion efforts, the program has finally made its way to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). To put it simply, this program makes it quick and easy to move through security at airports and venues by replacing the need for ID cards and event tickets. The arrival of CLEAR at EWR is just another example of how popular the program is becoming. With millions of customers already onboard, it’s hard to imagine the company not growing at such a fast pace. Major cities like Atlanta, Denver, Miami, San Francisco and more (totally over 60 locations) have adopted the service, whether it be in an airport or venue. Having CLEAR available in Newark, a major travel hub, means that the service will be accessible to a huge new population of travelers. Since the program already has seven other locations throughout New York, including JFK, LaGuardia and Westchester, it only seemed right that Newark is covered as well.

CLEAR has been implemented in Terminal C at Newark Liberty. Those wishing to utilize the service must proceed to the correct terminal. Once you arrive at the security checkpoint you can either sign up for CLEAR, or if you already have it you can proceed directly to the pods and have your identity verified through biometric authentication (just a fancy term for either a fingerprint or eye scan).
